Straight from the Lab

''Straight from the Lab'' is a mixtape released by American rapper Eminem. The album was originally made available as a seven-track bootleg mixtape in the United States, before being issued officially as a sixteen-track compilation album by Universal Music in Europe on November 7, 2003.
==Background==
The song "We Are Americans" was later retitled "We As Americans", shortened by approximately 20 seconds, and it is included in a bonus disc on Eminem's fifth studio album ''Encore''. "Love You More" also appears on the bonus disc of ''Encore''. "Come On In" was later retitled "Six in the Morning", and was used on D12's second studio album, ''D12 World''. "Bully" is a diss track, aimed at rappers Benzino, Irv Gotti and Ja Rule. "Can-I-Bitch" samples Slick Rick's song "Children's Story" in the first verse. It is also a play on the title of Canibus's first album, entitled Can-I-Bus and is an answer song to the Pet Shop Boys' 2002 song The Night I Fell in Love. "Hailie's Revenge", which features background vocals from Eminem's daughter Hailie Jade, is sometimes referred as "Do Rae Me", and is a comeback to Ja Rule's song "Loose Change". The uncensored version of "The Kids" appears here, on the second single ''The Way I Am'', and the UK and Australian editions of ''The Marshall Mathers LP''. The clean version appears on ''The Marshall Mathers LP'' and immediately replaces "Kim". "Explosion" is featured on the 2002 soundtrack ''Music from and Inspired by the Motion Picture 8 Mile'', with the latter being credited as "Rabbit Run".
